Christina Hildebrandt, CMT, BARA, Visceral Manipulation practitioner and Certified Clinical Musician
I received my Massage Therapy certification in 1992 from the Boulder School of Massage Therapy, now called the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, where I learned deep tissue and Swedish massage therapy, Shiatsu (Japanese acupressure) and Integrative Massage (for emotional healing).
I continued my education by learning CranioSacral Therapy and Healing Touch energy work. In 2005, I received training in BioAcoustics and received BARA (BioAcoustic Research Associate) standing. Most recently, I am pursuing certification as a Visceral Techniques practitioner. In Spring of 2015, I became certified as a Clinical Musician, providing healing harp and vocal music at the bedside for patients.
I love hands-on healing work, knowing that by applying my skills as a bodywork therapist I can help the body heal itself. The goal of my work is to decrease people's pain and stress, so their spirits are free to grow!
I've lived in or near Longmont most of my life. I currently live in a straw bale house with my husband and children, in a family cohousing with my two sisters-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law (and various dogs, cats and chickens). Below, I'm playing my therapy harp (named the Christina Therapy Harp!) for an event in Longmont.
